Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic wins the Wimbledon 2011 trophy by defeating Maria Sharapova of Russia in straight sets 6-3,6-4.She became the first left handed woman after Martina Navratilova to win Wimbledon title and the third czech women to clinch the title after Navratilova and Jana Novotna.
The left handed spin of Petra Kvitova and the continued service error by Maria Sharapova made the match in favor of the Czech girl.For the first time the 21 years old czech girl came to a Grandslam final and won the title.On the other hand,Maria Sharapova lost the chance to grab the title for the 2nd time after 7 years.
